Root Kids in a Relationship with God.

Step through the mist into Rainforest Falls, overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures. Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, kids plunge into a lifelong adventure of discovering the nature of God. They'll explore what it means to be rooted in relationship with God, their creator, a safe place in life's storms.

We will take the church bus to the Yankee Doodle Pops concert.  You must be able-bodied to walk to/from the parked bus to the concert watching spot with your lawn chair.  

Join us for the Des Moines Symphony’s 32nd annual Yankee Doodle Pops, Iowa’s largest single-day concert event! This family-friendly, patriotic concert concludes with the area’s premier fireworks display over the downtown Des Moines skyline, and best of all, it’s free. Bring your picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs, or purchase food from an array of vendors at the concert.

You also have the option to drive yourself up there, and meet the group at the Capitol.

Join us in the church parking lot to watch the fireworks.  Bring your lawn chairs.

Prior to the fireworks, we will be offering root beer floats for a freewill donation to support Pastor Samuel's ministry in Uganda.  

If the city of Pella cancels their activities due to weather, this event will be canceled.
