The entire family is invited to join us at the Skate Pit in Knoxville.  It is located on the Marion County Fairgrounds, at the southeast corner of the race track.

No activities are happening at church that evening.

Skates are included in the rental, $4 per person.
They do have snacks available for purchase, but eating supper is on your own.

Join us for an intergenerational Guys’ Night you won’t want to miss! Bring a friend, a lawn chair, and come ready for a great evening together!

We’ll have plenty of fuel for the night: smoked meats, cheesy potatoes, cowboy beans, and desserts.

Cost: $10 per person ($20 per person the week of the event)  For men and boys 13 years and older.

The First Church Piecemakers have been sewing quilts & other items for charities for many years and are planning a silent auction October 18-25 to support Ashley Uitermarkt’s mission work in Japan. Your donations of homemade items, food, gift cards, services, etc. are much appreciated and need to be in the church office by October 12. Questions please see Kristi Van Ee.

A big Christmas snowstorm has folks scrambling for temporary quarters until the storm passes. One group finds shelter in an abandoned escape room. The good news? It is warm (ish) and dry. The bad news? Someone has kicked the door closed and nobody knows how to open it! An intriguing Advent calendar left behind begins to reveal secrets which just might unlock this dilemma. In the process, we’ll discover the true meaning of Advent — that the long-awaited Savior came to rescue hopelessly-trapped sinful people when we couldn’t rescue ourselves!

Children 1st-5th grade are invited to join in the fun. Rehearsal is on Wednesdays (starting Oct. 14) at 4:30-5:30 PM in the Sanctuary.
